Nursery: Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £26,697.99 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Raynes Park, SW20

 

We are looking for a part time, passionate Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Nursery, situated just a 5 minute walk from Raynes Park train station, with excellent public transport links, including several bus stops within a few minutes walk. There is also some on-street parking close by. This role is for 18 hours per week, preferably to work Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

 

Our Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery is based just a short walk from the high street- great for grabbing a coffee at lunch time! The lovely 62-place setting is recently Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and features large and well-resourced rooms, and a great outdoor garden with play equipment.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum
Communicating with parents daily on their child’s activities
Provide a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe and looked after
Supporting colleagues encourage the children’s development towards key milestones
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
What we’re looking for

Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
