We have an opportunity for someone with a passion for food who is looking for a career that will provide fantastic development and support.

 

As Chef Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the delivery of retail services and kitchen organisation.

 

This role will entail preparation, cooking and service of food for daily menus and all function work. These duties will be carried out on time and to the highest standards as per company policy to comply with the client, company and statutory regulations.

The Role
To plan, coordinate and place order in the system all food requirements.
To adhere to standard recipes and production planning in line with client numbers.
To understand and implement current food trends and ideas into the business.
To ensure that the meals and services comply with the agreed budgetary standard and cost.
To understand how all equipment works and be able to demonstrate and train staff to the required standards.
To receive and implement any training required and supervise your team and ensure performance, attendance and sickness are managed appropriately.
To carry out any reasonable management request.
Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, etc. in compliance with Food Safety Act and quality control system ISO9002.
To develop and progress the business in line with high street trends.
About You
NVQ Level 2 (or in the process of completing) or equivalent cookery qualification
Passionate about great-tasting food
Advanced understanding of the principals of food hygiene
Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships
Have a desire to succeed in your role
Deliver a high-quality service, with an attention for detail
Both a supportive and helpful individual
Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
FSL3
IT (Microsoft Office)
