Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering electrical and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within the designated region.

Your key duties will include fault finding, repairs, ongoing maintenance, and installation, all carried out to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibility for electrical/mechanical PPM’s, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded
Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks
Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
Be on part of a 1 in 3 on call rota
Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of ISS and the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met
Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements along with issuing of Permits to Work and the management of safe systems of work to ensure safe working
Carry out pat testing on electrical items as required
Ensure that all electrical equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria
Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards
Provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
Evaluate performance, ensuring servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out in accordance with guidance, regulations and manufacturers recommendations
Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management in a timely manner as necessary
Always be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs
Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately utilising the companies CAFM job system
Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc
Suggest improvements and innovations to improve the service provided
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
City and Guilds 2330/2382 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR equivalent
City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2008)
City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2391)
IOSH
JIB Accredited
IPAF / PASMA
Full UK Driving License
Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing
Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties including an understanding of fire systems, sprinkler systems, BMS, HVAC and other main equipment
Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
