Job Description
The Assistant HR Business Partner role will work in partnership with HR team members to ensure pay and employee relations issues are managed to a high quality, ensuring adherence to legislation, policies and terms and conditions.
A primary focus is advising and supporting managers in all aspects of:
Employee relations, including managing poor performance, grievances and absence management.
Provide proactive advice, coaching, support and guidance to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures
Staff retention
Pay and benefits
Annual performance reviews, sickness absence metrics
The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant HR Business Partner will posses the following skills and attributes:
Excellent communication skills
CIPD or equivalent qualified/part qualified, or equivalent training and experience
Good knowledge of employment law and ACAS guidelines, particularly in those areas related to employee relations issues
A good problem solver
Highly organised
What’s on Offer
This is an interim role until April 2025.
37 hours per week across 5 days
Hybrid working and attendance in the office required two days per week
Competitive salary between £42,800 – £47,900 depending on experience
