We are currently hiring an NFR Third Party Risk Specialist
The NFR is a function that sits within the markets business of HSBC. The NFR helps manage and control non-financial and new risks in the business, including but not limited to operational, conduct and product lifecycle risk.

 

An overarching purpose is to protect HSBC, its People, Clients and Financial Markets by helping safeguarding the delivery of fair outcomes to our customers and avoiding disruption of the orderly and transparent operation of Financial Markets.

Responsibilities
Support Global MSS Third Party Risk Officer (MSS GTPRO) to oversee all internal and external non-client third party types across MSS including BAU management of the lifecycle of TPRM covering in particular the Europe and Americas time zone.
Support MSS Central TPRM team on all liaison and governance both within and outside of MSS including Group Third Party Management (TPM), 2nd Line of Defence ie Resilience Risk Stewards and 3rd Line of Defence ie Internal Audit.
Support Global MSS TPRO for the following activities:
Partnering and act as main liaison with Global Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) team on all TPR compliance.
Supporting all global roll out of TPR change initiatives.
Reviewing requirements and assessing the relevant impact to MSS from Group Third Party Audits, & 2LOD reviews and Group TPM Transformation Programs where required
Supporting lessons learned and read across opportunities identified globally.
Collaborating with regional, Asset class and MSS Operations SMEs and leveraging their expertise to complete actions required from lessons learned.
Support MSS Central TPRM team on all Global MSS TPRM governance meetings and various working groups including remediating any Global MSS wide MSIIs for TPRM activities.
Managing BAU NFR activities (eg Issue and Action management, identifying trigger events, RCA uplift, performing centralised Continuous Monitoring Plans for external and internal third parties RCAs.
Required Skills and Experience

 

Essential the candidate has either 1st Line Risk or 3rd Party Risk experience
NFR experience desirable
Strong stakeholder management skills
Financial Services experience (essential)
Experience of managing remediation programmes
Previous experience working as a Risk Specialist
Experience dealing with internal and external vendors
