We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Senior Product Manager – Regulation

 

The successful candidate will be part of the Global regulatory product team based in Europe/ UK focussed on establishing and providing a holistic coverage of the regulatory developments impacting clients and the securities services business across Europe / UK.

You will cover activities from horizon scanning to market insights for the growing Securities Services business across Europe, UK, Middle East and US with upcoming regulatory changes including on ESG and Sustainability.

In this role you will:

 

Lead the European Regulatory Outlook forums within Securities Services. Actively monitor regulatory developments primarily in Europe / UK. Work with clients and other product teams to deliver solutions to clients including in regulatory reporting thus enabling them to take advantage of upcoming opportunities on the back of regulatory developments
Ideate and produce product collateral insight documentation/thought leadership with involvement from product leads, client services and sales & business development in order to add greater value to clients and market prospects. Work closely with Regulatory & Tax Change Management, Operational Teams, IT and relevant functional teams to support the shape of development & delivery.
Bring a data and digital lens to product development and enhancements, and actively seek to delight our clients in the regulatory offering provided. Maintain product rate cards to ensure that the commercial proposition is competitive.
Support regulatory vendor oversight, including maintenance of contracts. Provide regulatory support in responding to RFPs. Support commercial deal propositions prior to Business Acceptance Committee (BAC) submissions.
Support periodic reviews of product roadmaps in collaboration with product and sector heads to determine 3-5 year developments. Adopt the product management & development methodology and support outputs from the phases of initiation, definition, analysis, design, business case and post product live maintenance management.
 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

Exemplary stakeholder management skills with the ability to present and influence at a senior level is paramount
A strong understanding of the regulatory construct of the Investment Management Industry including awareness of key themes impacting the Investment Management Industry is key
Demonstrable financial services experience with Securities Services knowledge being essential, in addition to the ability to work in a matrix team and exhibit a structured and effective approach to producing detailed deliverables
Knowledge for regulatory regimes such as MiFID, UCITS KIID and Solvency II with expertise in regulatory reporting
Some understanding of EU regulations would be advantageous with solid analytical and communication skills
