We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Residential Leasing and Property Management Specialist to join our team at The Horizon. This dynamic role is responsible for managing all aspects of the residential leasing process, from applicant screening to tenant move-in, as well as overseeing day-to-day property operations and resident engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be able to adapt to the varied challenges that each day brings. This position reports directly to the BTR Asset Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary on-site contact for resident queries and maintenance issues, working 5 days per week to build strong relationships with residents
Manage the entire leasing process, including handling applicant inquiries, conducting property tours, and securing offers on apartments
Oversee deposit negotiations and related administrative tasks
Coordinate and ensure completion of residential property maintenance and repairs
Liaise with the facility manager to report and address issues within the block/estate
Maintain and report on residential property compliance records
Conduct periodic property inspections and generate reports
Manage the re-letting process for vacant apartments
Organize and run regular resident engagement events
Oversee day-to-day building operations and maintain high service standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in relevant IT systems and software
ARLA level 3 qualification (or actively working towards it)
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Previous experience in residential letting and property management
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality service standards
