Job Description: Senior Programme Director.

 

· Be responsible for management and oversight of the UK & London capital works Programme;
· Reporting to the EMEA Head of Project Management, you will establish/review the Program structure, governance and objectives in alignment with client requirements and agree internal monitoring, reporting and approval requirements;
· Develop/review high-level Programme for all projects with the UK & London portfolio, establish key Project or workstream activities and dependencies, decision gateways and delivery milestones to meet Client Programme objectives through to operational readiness and go-live;
· Develop and maintain trusted, productive relationships with business stakeholders and key suppliers and lead efforts to build a culture of collaboration and working partnerships within the wider Programme team;
· Advise on and facilitate the appointment of resources or technical specialists to Project or workstream teams, as necessary to meet programme objectives or deliverables;
· Identify key stakeholders and their responsibilities and establish a series of engagement meetings to support ongoing connectivity with Programme brief, objectives and deliverables;
· Support the development of the Programme budget, aligned with client capex and opex planning requirements, and work with the Project Manager, Cost Manager and workstream leads to monitor cost and expenditure against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses;
·Be responsible for Programme risk management strategy, to establish a framework for controlling the effect of risk and uncertainty on the achievement of Programme objectives;
· Work with the Project Manager, Cost Manager and ‘Workstream Leads’ to develop the Programme procurement strategy in line with timeline dependencies, internal processes and governance requirements;
·Ensure Project and/or workstream deliverables are to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, and are in accordance with the programme plan and governance arrangements;
·Be the owner of the dashboard / strategic programme / financial reporting;
· Act as the senior programme point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate;
· Have oversight of the Programme communications plan, including supporting development and cascading of formal programme communication;
· Lead and/or attend, as appropriate, regular internal and external project meetings (e.g. steering committees, workstream meetings, base-build developer meetings, stakeholder consultations & visioning sessions, design workshops, risk workshops etc);
·Manage / facilitate / issue escalation and resolution throughout the life of the Project/Programme;
· Coordinate/support the workplace design process where needed, ensuring timely input from key senior stakeholders at critical decision gateways; and
· Lead and co-ordinate the various workstreams, internal teams, stakeholders and external professional advisors to achieve Programme objectives.

Project documentation including drawings and handover certificates at 100%
Skills

Firm knowledge of construction, architecture and MEPH services
Firm knowledge and previous experience in commercial office-fit out
Strong experience in Investment Banking environments and how governance & policy manifests in project management structure
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients
Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, basic knowledge of MS Office
Competencies

Independent, resourceful, possess keen ability to learn and with excellent work ethics.
Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently.
Assumes complete responsibility for assignments of high complexity, and continues to aggressively improve skill base.
Experience

15+ years relevant industry experience with consultant or contractor firms.
