Key Role:
The Director of Technology & Systems is responsible for driving the strategic direction, governance, and execution of technology initiatives across Rocket Station and RCi. This role ensures the alignment of technology infrastructure, system compliance, cybersecurity, and process efficiency with the company’s operational and business objectives.
The Director oversees two key departments:
Systems and Process Compliance, which focuses on risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Technology Integration, which leads IT development, research, and cybersecurity initiatives.
This role is instrumental in ensuring technology, security, and compliance strategies are integrated effectively across all functions and that Rocket Station maintains a future-proof, scalable, and secure technological environment.
Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Governance:
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives, growth strategies, and security standards.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and data privacy regulations through structured IT governance.
Establish technology policies, standards, and best practices to optimize operational performance and security.
Oversee vendor relationships, IT procurement, and technology investments to drive cost-effective innovation.
Systems and Process Compliance Oversight:
Supervise the Head of Systems and Process Compliance, ensuring compliance with internal audits, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure process standardization, operational documentation, and quality management systems are effectively maintained.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with HR, Operations, and Finance to ensure efficient system integration and process compliance.
Drive initiatives that enhance data integrity, access management, and business continuity planning.
Technology Integration & Innovation:
Oversee the Head of Technology Integration, ensuring the seamless development and adoption of IT solutions.
Lead IT development, cybersecurity, system research, and implementation of new digital tools that improve efficiency.
Foster innovation in automation, AI-driven technology, and cloud infrastructure optimization.
Ensure scalability of IT systems and operational adaptability to support company expansion.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity protocols to protect company and client data.
Ensure compliance with global security frameworks and industry best practices for data protection.
Lead incident response planning, risk mitigation strategies, and security audits.
Collaborate with the Systems and Compliance team to strengthen data governance policies.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
Act as the key liaison between executive leadership, operations, and IT teams to align technology with business goals.
Provide strategic leadership to department heads, managers, and IT teams to ensure a cohesive tech strategy.
Drive employee training initiatives to improve system adoption, cybersecurity awareness, and compliance practices.
Work closely with finance and procurement to ensure cost efficiency in IT projects and software acquisitions.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Define and track KPIs for IT operations, compliance effectiveness, and system performance.
Present monthly reports on technology advancements, security incidents, and process enhancements to executive leadership.
Utilize data-driven decision-making to drive continuous improvement in IT efficiency, compliance, and security.
