We have a unique and exciting opportunity within our UK division for a CEO of our Supply Chain function. This Executive level position, will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and tactical execution of all aspects of supply chain operations and will have responsibility for all contracting, sourcing, value analysis and transactional processing.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

Directing, managing and evaluating the Supply Chain team across the division within the hospitals or remote locations throughout the UK.
Building strategic relationships and ongoing alliances with the executives teams and key stakeholders, effectively communicating the shared vision of supply chain operations.
Build a high performance and customer focused culture, providing leadership and direction for the team as well as internal development and succession planning initiatives.
Identifies and fosters new opportunities for operational and financial improvement
Develops strategies for the effective management of supply expense
Ensures services are relevant and supportive of the clinical initiatives of the facilities and an alignment between contracting, clinical resource management, pharmacy and identified Division and facility clinical initiatives
Actively participates in supply expense discussions, strategic plan development and support, and conducts regular business reviews with Division and facility leadership
Drives product utilization/standardization protocols, and clinical initiatives
Responsible for the integrity of the Supply Chain financial statements, including appropriate account reconciliation/review, and achievement of the expense budget
Coordinate Capital Budget plan and purchases with Hospital and Division leadership
Develops and improves customer satisfaction with the hospitals and other customers
Executes a continuous improvement program for all supply chain functions
Responsible for planning, measuring, executing and tracking all supply chain projects
Skills and experience

Ability to communicate effectively to all levels
Proven experience in building a high performing team and a customer focused culture
Experience managing significant process or organizational change while minimizing outcome disruption
Experience with analysing complex business issues, developing strategies to address those issues, and preparing plans to effectively communicate the strategies to a high performing team
Educated to a Masters level is preferred but not essential.
