We are seeking a Pension & Benefits Analyst to join our team.

Key Information:

  • Rate: £244.00 per day
  • Location: Liverpool Street, London (Hybrid)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week
  • Contract Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

Pension & Benefits

  • Supporting the Head of Payroll & Benefits with administration of all pension and benefits including communication with employees, providers and HR colleagues.
  • Main point of contact for HR, employee and ex-employee queries on pension & benefits matters to include the monitoring of the pensions & benefits mailboxes and calls, resolving queries and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Supporting data transfer between iTrent, pension & benefit providers and the internal Payroll team, identifying and resolving anomalies that may arise.
  • Processing of benefit invoices, reconciliation and preparation of accrual and suspense account information.
  • Document the current invoice management process including rules for controls and checks to be done at each step of the process, from invoice reception to final approval
  • Identify potential improvements to secure and/or speed up the invoicing process
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with benefits providers (dealing with queries, organising employee communications, resolving data and invoice problems, etc.) and identify any improvements to improve the process of invoicing data exchange with the providers
  • Preparation of ad-hoc management reports
  • Maintenance of UK data on Global Benefits database.
  • Provide ad-hoc admin and analytical support for various Pension & Benefits projects.
  • Act as a backup for the Head of Payroll & Benefits / Benefit Specialist.
  • Document the process and operational procedure for benefits processing, checks, reconciliation from end to end
  • Identify any improvements to bring to the current process and validate them with head of benefits and pensions and the stakeholders of the process
  • Report weekly to the manager on different activities / projects progress

Other

  • Develop the competencies necessary and provide cover for the Benefits Specialist.
  • Participate when required to HR projects and support the wider HR team to produce the required deliverables

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
