We’re looking for a commercially-minded accountant to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential to develop into a long-term opportunity.

This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys partnering with the business, delivering insightful financial analysis, and building strong relationships with colleagues across both finance and non-finance teams. You’ll play a key role in supporting decision-making and helping drive performance — an excellent stepping stone towards a fully-fledged Business Partner role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

• Producing variance analysis and clear, insightful financial commentary.

• Supporting profitability reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Getting involved in commercial proposals and identifying process improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience preparing the full set of accounts.

• A confident, outgoing personality — comfortable building relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders.

• Strong Excel skills and a good head for working with data.
