As a Care Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a team of care professionals – ensuring our services are not only safe and compliant, but that we’re also providing the best of care for our customers.
Responsibilities
As a Care Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the safe and high-quality delivery of our care services
- Leading day-to-day operations and manage performance, budgets and resources
- Supporting your team through recruitment, induction and supervision
- Ensuring we’re compliant with regulatory regulations and our company standards
- Monitoring quality, manage risk, and drive improvements across your teams
- Representing Bluebird Care at local events, forums and professional networks
- Working closely with the business owner to meet KPIs and growth targets
- Hosting regular team meetings to maintain effective communication amongst the team
- Attending monthly manager meetings with our central team and sister offices
- Effectively managing complaints and incidents and carry out investigations accordingly

Requirements
- A social care qualification (Level 5 or willingness to work toward it)
- Domiciliary and social care management
- Great leadership, communication, and organisation skills
- Previous experience of managing a CQC inspection
- Be able to work calmly under pressure, with a flexible approach to change
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work flexibly and manage on-call where needed
- Have experience in dealing with people where service excellence is paramount
