We’re looking for a General Manager for a recently invested community pub in Basingstoke. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

Are you a passionate and driven operator looking for a pub with genuine growth potential?

This family-friendly pub, located just outside Basingstoke town centre, has recently benefited from a two-door CAPEX investment and offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator to take the business to the next level.

Currently trading at around £25,000 per week with an approximate 30/70 wet-to-food sales split , the pub attracts a broad customer base including families, local residents and sports enthusiasts. While wet sales continue to grow, there is a real opportunity to rebuild food performance and create a more balanced, profitable business.

We’re looking for a strong operator who can drive high standards, develop a compelling food offer, increase guest frequency through local marketing activity, and maximise the pub’s entertainment and sports proposition. The successful partner will bring energy, commercial awareness and a clear plan to engage the local community through events, entertainment, sports viewing and targeted promotions. If you have a proven track record of driving sales, developing teams and creating memorable guest experiences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

With recent investment complete and plenty of untapped potential remaining, this is an exciting chance to build a thriving community pub at the heart of Basingstoke.

Live In management accommodation is available in the form of 3 bedroom flat.
