Procurement Coordinator (3-Months)

Reed Business Support are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join a growing team and play a key role in supporting purchasing operations, supplier relationships and inventory management.

Day-to-Day of the role:

  • Raising and managing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, delivery schedules and lead times.
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, pricing and availability.
  • Maintaining procurement records, contracts and supplier databases.
  • Supporting stock control and inventory management activities.
  • Resolving supply issues and escalating concerns where necessary.
  • Assisting with supplier onboarding and compliance documentation.
  • Producing procurement reports and analysing purchasing data.
  • Working closely with finance and operational teams to ensure smooth processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Procurement Coordinator, Purchasing Assistant, Buyer Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Experience using ERP or procurement systems is advantageous.
