We’re partnering with a large, complex organisation to recruit an experienced, qualified, Finance Operations Manager to lead a high-volume transactional finance team and drive operational excellence across AP, AR and payment processes.

This is a senior role within the finance function, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong technical expertise, and enjoys improving processes, controls and reporting. You’ll play a key part in modernising finance operations, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
• Oversee all AP/AR processes including invoice workflow, debt management, cash collection and ledger accuracy
• Drive improvements in working capital, reporting cycles, budgeting and forecasting
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management and compliance across transactional finance
• Develop reporting, dashboards and commentary for senior leadership
• Support system upgrades and process improvement projects
• Build strong relationships across finance, operations and external stakeholders
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to a busy transactional team

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Accountant – essential
• Extensive experience managing large transactional finance teams
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, controls and compliance
• Proven ability to operate in a large, complex organisation
• Skilled in analysing high-volume financial data and producing clear reporting
• Confident leader able to motivate teams and drive change
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
