Gallagher’s Commercial Broking Division is seeking a talented Development Executive to join our vibrant and relationship-driven team in Northern Ireland. As a Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities across the region, building strong and lasting client relationships along the way.

With in-house claims, risk management and broking expertise, we deliver a seamless, high-quality service to our clients, supported by a network of experienced Account Executives, technical specialists and leadership who are invested in your success.

How you’ll make an impact

• Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities, consistently exceeding your targets.
• Build relationships with our external partners
• Focus on the needs of retail customers, offering a broad range of services and products with opportunities to provide a wide spectrum of services.
• Attend work related events such as dinners, C-Suite networking and trade shows, using your networking skills to identify and seize new opportunities.
• Represent Gallagher with professionalism and integrity, building trust and enhancing our reputation in the market.

About You

• Proven track record in business development and sales within the insurance industry, with experience delivering against targets in a regulated environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to independently generate leads and build pipelines.
• Strong focus on client needs, dedicated to providing the best possible service and outcomes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Full driving licence.
• Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel as required.
