We are currently recruiting for Food Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Wimbledon.

This is a temporary ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for regular work for reliable candidates.

The Role

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working as part of a busy production team helping to manufacture and prepare fresh food products.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing and handling food ingredients
• Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
• Operating basic production machinery
• Portioning, shaping and packing finished products
• Labelling and checking products
• Moving products and materials around the production area
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
• Following food hygiene, quality and Health & Safety procedures
• Working to production targets and maintaining a consistent pace
• Supporting other areas of the production process when required

About You

• Reliable and punctual
• Hard-working and physically fit
• Comfortable working in a busy food production environment
• Able to work as part of a team
• Happy carrying out repetitive tasks
• Able to follow instructions and production procedures
• Health & Safety and hygiene conscious
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Previous food production or warehouse experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided
