RecruitAbility are looking for a practical, hands-on Assembly Operative to join a friendly and well-established business near Bishop’s Stortford on a temporary basis.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys practical work and has previous experience within a warehouse, production, assembly or similar environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Assembling and putting together products
• Picking and packing items
• Preparing products for dispatch
• Carrying out basic checks on products
• Moving and organising stock
• Following straightforward instructions
• Completing basic paperwork
• Helping with other warehouse and production tasks when needed

About you
There is one essential requirement for this role:

• You must drive and have your own car due to the location of the office

Other than that, we’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident working in a warehouse or production environment
• Careful and accurate
• Keen and willing to learn
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Happy working as part of a team

Previous assembly, production, warehouse, picking or packing experience would be useful.
