Role description:

Managing a team to proactively support PMs to ensure Arcadis projects are set up, forecast, billed and closed in a timely manner as set out in the Arcadis Way Principles. Work closely with Business Partners to ensure accurate reporting of performance, minimize working capital and escalate risks identified.

We are accepting applications for this role until Feb 18, 2025.

Role accountabilities:

Provide effective management to engage, motivate and develop all direct reports
Build trusted relationships with Business Directors to ensure appropriate quality and service
Drive improvements in working capital by reviewing and driving billing/cash collection
Train Project Managers on Oracle and support where required
Advise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS
Identify continuous improvement and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team
Support Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes to drive accuracy of month end reporting
Support on project reviews as required; report any risks identified to management
Ensure reliable and accurate month end reporting of project performance
Support Business Partners interpret month end results
Comply with Arcadis Way policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience:

Part qualified Accounting qualification or equivalent by experience
Ability to organize, motivate and develop a team
Relevant experience of working in a medium/large organization
Excel and ERP to a medium proficiency
Attention to detail and consistent high standards
Good inter-personal and communication skills
