Lead Religious Studies Practitioner
(Suitable for Exceptional ECT or Career returner – Full time/Part-time)

Reports to: Head of Humanities
Start date: Easter 2025 or earlier
Contract: Permanent – Part-time or Full-time
Salary: £39,739 – £51,545 (Ark MPS AM1 – AM6) or £60,061 – £61,331 (Lead Practitioner L1-2)
Closing Date: 10th January 2025

The Role:
This role at the centre of our school and within a successful and dynamic Humanities provision. You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. A passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
ECT and career returner – We welcome exceptional ECT or career returner working either full-time or part-time. Full training will be provided to support you.

Our ideal candidate will:
• Qualified teacher with a Degree in a relevant subject
• Desirable – Have strong experience teaching and achieving great results up to Key Stage 5
• Have a passion to learn and develop your practice through regular CPD and feedback.
• Commitment to equality of opportunity and the safeguarding and welfare of all students
• The ability to question and challenge the status quo and find new and progressive solutions to existing systems.
