Job Title: Senior Engineer – Support Resilience Support Concepts Engineer

Salary: £54,793+ Dependent on skills and experience

 

What you’ll be doing:

Pan Platform Support Assessment against CASE KPIs for Resilience, Agilty & Preparedness
Derivation of Customer requirements for the development of pan platform Support requirements
Technical Support to development of Business Cases for changes to Support Solutions for F-35, Typhoon and Hawk
Conduct Feasibility Study for ACP Support Concepts, Identify sensitivities within the support solution to be tested or developed further
Alternative MRO&U Supply (I.e. Deca Pilots ) – DECA MRO candidates / approvals process /  technical assurance of pilots / tech solution for test equipment
Your skills and experiences:

Significant experience of in service support activities within Combat Air or Air platforms
Programme Management and Engineering Systems approach to developing and deploying capabilities
High calibre in stakeholder management and relationship building, across international domains
Experience of working in a multi-facetted collaborative, data driven, environment with internal and external stakeholders to assess situations, identify risks and establish robust action plans
Experience of Dynamic simulation, life cycle cost analysis, Support solution design and modelling
Experience of Through Life / Platform availability service drivers (i.e. LSAR, Maintenance Planning & Execution, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul, Supply Chain Planning, Information architectures & data management etc.)
Strong stakeholder management and professionalism, able to act as a representative of the company in front of Customers and other Industry Partners for key strategic programmes

The Strategy and Future Concepts Team:

The Strategy and Future Concepts team sits within the Air Sector Support and Services Service Delivery Unit (SDU) and plays a key role in shaping the future of support strategies. The team takes high-level strategies and transforms them into actionable delivery plans, ensuring that support solutions remain cutting-edge and effective.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence and drive change in early lifecycle support strategies, making a direct impact on how the business operates. It is a high-profile, visible position, involving engagement with VIP visitors, senior stakeholders, and key industry partners. The role includes travel within the UK, including Coningsby, Bristol, RAF bases, and industry partners.

Working in a small, focused team, you will have the opportunity to operate independently while collaborating with senior leadership, including the Support & Services Strategy Lead and Strategy Director.
