Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who has strong organisational and communication skills.  The successful candidate will provide administration support for Barnardo’s Trading – New Goods team. The role is for 36.25 hours a week and the working pattern is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with Tuesdays and Thursdays in Barkingside Barnardo’s Head Office.

Initial Specific Responsibilities

As the successful applicant you will have opportunity to be involved in:

Managing the Purchase Orders in D365
Co-ordinate new supplier registration, due diligence checks and retention processes
Support to implement and maintain best practices on supplier registration, managing deliveries and Purchase Order process.
maintain necessary documentation related to external suppliers and new product testing and quality checks
Working with retail store colleagues and various other teams on a daily basis
manage store deliveries and communications with the retail team, stores and external suppliers to make sure the stock is receipted by the relevant stores on agreed time
Ensuring the accuracy of the stock booked in the EPOS system across all stores
Solve problems related to New Goods deliveries directly with stores/ suppliers to ensure the accuracy of stock booking process
Report on New Goods sales on a weekly basis as required
Taking part in different tasks/projects initiated by the New Goods team
