Job Description

Nursery: Bright Horizons West Hampstead Station Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £28,274 – £33,660 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: West Hampstead, London

 

We are looking for a full time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our brand new Preschool 1 room that is opening in January 2025! Bright Horizons West Hampstead Station Nursery. Our 164-place nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and set within a Victorian villa, which has been fully refurbished, back to its original glory. Unlike some London nurseries, our nursery features a fantastic outdoor garden, where our children can play sports, ride bikes on a cycling track with traffic lights and enjoy sensory experiences! Our nursery also has a full complement of specialist studios, such as arts and music, art, science and IT!

What we’re looking for

Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
