The role
As Project Manager you will effectively lead, manage and co-ordinate projects to deliver agreed business outcomes. This includes delivery of business change, technology and information systems that meet identified business requirements.
You’ll help us make health happen by
Overall responsibility for leading, managing and motivating a cross functional project team
Direct accountability and responsibility for delivery of allocated projects
Actively develops and maintains own business and technical expertise
In conjunction with Group Procurement, negotiates service levels and specifications with senior customer management and suppliers
Contributes to, and ensures the set-up of, appropriate contracts for the supply of products and/or services.
Responsible for the day-to-day relationship with suppliers (including off-shore resources). Ensuring  appropriate monitoring of contracts and Master Services Agreements, authorising or initiating any actions that may be required
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
Experience of running complex projects across a number of work streams
Running multiple projects or a large project
Excellent stakeholder management abilities
Solid judgement and decision making
Acts as internal advocate for the project
Resilient and pragmatic, stays calm under pressure
Strong leadership and people skills and strong team player
