Marketing Communications Planning Manager
Salford Quays M50 3SP or Staines TN18 3DZ – hybrid, 1-2 days per week in the office
Permanent
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Salary £39500 – £49500 depending on experience

The role
You’ll be part of the Strategy & Planning Team, playing an important role in the development and delivery of the Consumer strategy and story – both internally and externally.
Responsible for the creation and development of market and customer Insight to inform our Strategic and Delivery objectives in the Marketing & Distribution team.
You’ll maintain and manage the Consumer Segmentation and associated programmes in the department, making sure our segmentation is live, relevant and informs our plans across Consumer.
You’ll also support with the effective prioritisation and management of work.
How you’ll help us make health happen
You’ll undertake horizon scanning for opportunities and spotting gaps in telling our story, working with teams to develop solutions.
Maintain an always on approach to insights across the market, industry and customers to provide timely and helpful Insights.
Create a monthly Insight Report that brings covers a key Insight topics.
Support all Insight requests from the Senior Leadership Team and wider Consumer Leadership Team
Maintain and build the Consumer Segmentation ands associated programmes especially in our Intermediary team.
Ensure the Segmentation informs and drives plans across Consumer.
Maintain an integrated approach to planning our  corporate communications and content process across UK Insurance.
Work with the Head of Marketing Communications on the development of a High-Level Quarterly Comms Plans and manage a monthly review with Marketing Managers.
Create great stakeholder relationships across the business, including Brand, Clinics, Digital, Product, Proposition, OHCM.
Manage complex marketing and communications initiatives, providing oversight and clear reporting.
Develop and deliver executive updates, dashboards and reports.
Work with a range of external agencies, commissioning activity building strong relationships.
Ensure a robust risk management framework is in place.
You
Proven successful experience in a marketing and communications role, ideally in a complex, regulated environment.
Experience of communications strategy development and implementation across the full marketing mix.
Experience of developing integrated, audience-centric campaigns and commissioning and working with agencies
Experience of delivering complex communications plans and leading and delivering multiple projects
A strong, determined communicator and negotiator with effective, persuasive communication up to senior / board level.
