Day-to-Day of the Complex Needs Teacher Assistant Role:

• Provide targeted support to students with complex needs, enhancing their educational and personal development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective educational strategies and interventions.
• Assist in the development and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Support students in both classroom settings and vocational training areas, ensuring a cohesive learning experience.
• Engage with students to foster a positive learning environment, encouraging progress and participation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Complex Needs Teacher Assistant or in a similar role supporting children with special educational needs.
• A deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of working with students with complex needs.
• Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
• A commitment to going above and beyond in supporting the educational journey of students with special needs.
