Electrician – Control Panels and Switchgear (Manufacturing)
Location: Nottingham, NG11
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7:15am – 5:30pm (4-day week)

Essential Qualifications

• 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

• JIB/ECS Gold Card

Additional Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as an Electrician in control panel or switchgear assembly

• Strong ability to interpret 3-phase electrical schematics and CAD-generated drawings

• Skilled in using hand and power tools to a professional standard

• Excellent communication and fault-finding skills

• Self-motivated, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

My client is seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join their team at a modern switchgear manufacturing facility in Nottingham. The successful Electrician will:

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and low-voltage switchgear

• Work accurately from detailed drawings and CAD layouts

• Ensure all systems meet strict quality and safety standards

• Support the upkeep of workshop tools and equipment

• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets

• Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working environment
