A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Acton, Ealing is seeking a dedicated EAL Teaching Assistant with fluent Japanese language skills to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL), helping them to access the curriculum and settle confidently into school life.About the Role:

• Provide in-class and small group support for pupils with EAL, particularly those with Japanese as their first language
• Assist with language acquisition, comprehension, and communication skills
• Work alongside class teachers and the SEN/EAL coordinator to adapt resources and lessons
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils
• Flexible working hours and contract lengths available to suit your circumstances

The Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• Patient, enthusiastic, and proactive with excellent communication skills
• A genuine interest in supporting young learners and helping them thrive
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the school and pupils
