JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Cleaning and Porter Assistant to join Kent College, Canterbury for an afternoon/evening shift. The Cleaning and Porter assistant will ensure a clean, safe and secure environment for pupils, staff and property whilst maintaining professional standards. They will be responsible for the professional upkeep of the standards of all our school sites under the guidance of the Head of Domestic Services.

Key responsibilities will include supporting with emergency cleaning duties, assisting with deliveries and post, setting up for events, collecting waste, and collecting and delivering laundry across all sites. The successful candidate will be aware of Health & Safety and COSHH requirements, and will hold a full UK driving license to allow for travel between our sites.

The position is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
