HVAC Engineers (Days)

Location: Various London Underground Stations

Contract Duration: 4 years

Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (12-hour shifts)

Pay Rate: £270 per shift

Qualifications Required:

• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning
• FGAS Certification
• LU-ICI on Sentinel Card for London Underground
• Experience working on London Underground Stations (is a must)

Role Description: We are seeking skilled HVAC Engineers to join our team, working across various London Underground stations. This role requires working day shifts, with a pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, ensuring that all HVAC systems are maintained and functioning efficiently during peak hours. We are looking for an engineer who is qualified with NVQ level 2 in refrigeration and air conditioning.

You need to have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing faults, so a breakdown engineer opposed to a PPM engineer.

As above this position is for a reactive breakdown engineer so this is the skillset we are looking for with experience in Split systems, water chillers, AHU’s & VRV/VRF and general mechanical plant.

Preferably with London Underground experience however that is not vital and someone who is keen. Must also have a clean UK driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration and air conditioning units.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with other engineers and staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
• FGAS Certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern.
