About the role
The Imperial Policy Forum is seeking a Policy & Programmes Officer who will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of a programme of work raising the profile and understanding of Imperial’s world-leading health research to policymakers.

 

What you would be doing
At a crucial time for advances in medical technologies and unprecedented challenges for national health infrastructures you will provide expertise in using the research from Imperial’s academic community to inform policymaking. You will work closely with academics and professional services staff to produce engaging and insightful outputs based on their research, targeted at government and parliamentary audiences.

You will support in the building of capacity within the Imperial academic community to engage with policymakers, keeping them informed of ongoing developments in Westminster.

 

What we are looking for
A policy professional with an in-depth knowledge of UK health policy and the broader policymaking environment
A strong communicator, able to distil complex ideas into concise and compelling arguments or recommendations
Someone who is passionate about the role science can play in supporting policymaking and focused on delivering high-quality impactful outputs
