About the role
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the Software Reliability Group (https://srg.doc.ic.ac.uk/), under the direction of Prof. Cristian Cadar. We are looking for motivated applicants with expertise in program analysis to work on an exciting project at the intersection of program analysis and generative AI.

The Department of Computing at Imperial College London is a leading department of Computer Science among UK Universities. The department has achieved top results in each of the research assessment exercises undertaken by the Higher Education Funding Council for England. There are over fifty academic staff members actively involved in research, creating a lively and stimulating atmosphere. The department is located in central London, next to Hyde Park and the museums of South Kensington.

 

What you would be doing
You will develop novel program analysis techniques for automated testing of third-party software libraries.

 

What we are looking for
Proven knowledge in program analysis, including relevant publications in top venues
Ability to conduct research both independently and in collaboration
A PhD (or equivalent) in an area pertinent to this position.
Candidates close to completion of their PhD will also be considered but will be initially appointed as a Research Assistant within the salary range £43,003 – £46,297 per annum.

What we can offer you
This role is supported by AI Futures Grants, a UK Government scheme designed to help the next generation of AI leaders meet the costs of relocating to the UK. AI Futures Grants provide financial support to reimburse relocation costs such as visa fees, the immigration health surcharge and travel/subsistence expenses. Successful candidates for this role may be able to get up to £10,000 to meet relocations costs, subject to terms and conditions.
