Catering Supervisor

The Role
Ensure objectives are met through the effective planning, allocation, and monitoring of work for self and teams including the management of resources
Ensure that all paperwork is completed and filled in correctly and submitted at the appropriate intervals
Liaise with operative staff under your supervision by way of discussion and regular team meetings i.e. Performance Reviews, Job Chats, Return to Work discussions
Ensure the provision of a cleaning and support service within the restaurant, coffee shop, assembly and associated areas
Carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health & Safety and Personal Hygiene
Use every effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the Client and ISS colleagues
Assist in the preparation and provision of the food service within the hospital or any other location as required. (This involves maneuvering ward trolleys and lifting patient trays)
Ensure good stock rotation and appropriate storage is being carried out and that stock is ordered and counted when required
About You
Enthusiastic approach to work
Catering experience is preferred – but a positive, can-do attitude is essential
Good understanding of the principals of food hygiene
A determined team player who works well with others
