Job Description

As the Soft Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality portering service to patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Your leadership will provide the necessary direction, guidance, and support to ensure all duties are carried out in line with the service specification, maintaining both patient and non-patient environments.
Job Description
You will be responsive to emerging service needs, constantly seeking to enhance productivity and service quality. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will adhere to health, safety, security, and infection control policies, ensuring compliance with all Trust and company protocols.

You may also be required to assist in emergency evacuations and security procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records related to sickness, quality monitoring, training, activity, and staff performance
Communicate with staff through discussions, team meetings, performance reviews, job chats, return-to-work discussions, and accident investigations
Supervise, train, motivate, and ensure the discipline, safety, and welfare of staff under your supervision
Organise and allocate staff to perform portering services within a designated area, ensuring adherence to work schedules and quality standards
Manage the ordering, control, monitoring, and distribution of uniforms, equipment, and materials necessary for staff to perform their duties effectively
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Facilities Management (FM) Experience
Team Supervision Experience
Hospital or Healthcare Environment Experience
