Objective:

The Account Lead role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with the client and other key stakeholders.
To ensure delivery of JLL’s Client Data Centre FM/IT Services Operations.
The role is responsible for self-delivery of technical services, deployment of JLL’s CEM programme.  Other key areas of responsibility include supplier management, mobilisation/transition, and compliance.
The role will be based on the client sites in West London and Slough.
To be the trusted partner of our client and support their growth as they expand into Europe.

Reporting -UK Data Centre Operations Director

What this job involves:

Providing data centre operational leadership at an “Account Level,” being responsible for the day to day running of the data centres M&E services, and building fabric requirements
Maintain strong partnership with client Data Centre Management (DCM) team to foster collaborative and constructive communication.
Delivery of Data Centre FM services across 11 Data Centres with 140+ JLL staff plus sub-contractors with overall accountability for financial, operational & resource management and reporting.
To promote other JLL services and drive growth by securing additional services such as Projects & Small Works.
Provide end to end support to deploy and develop on site operational teams (Inclusive of recruitment and selection)
Organise the site team and supply chain to meet the contractual outputs and objectives as set out in the contractual SLAs within the MSA.
Provide technical leadership and support the operational and maintenance delivery.
Implement standard business operating mechanisms such as regular team meetings, strategic review forums, training conferences and regular analysis and reporting processes to ensure team engagement and alignment and to provide an effective and efficient business operation in Data Centre FM
Responsible to drive operational excellence focusing on operational performance and compliance.
Actively participate in JLL Engineering Operations and DC Operations activities by attending required meetings.
Ownership and support for deployment of Critical Environmental Management (CEM) tools and processes as per the Critical Environments Playbook
Coordinate with the on-site teams to ensure that Planning & scheduling of PPM in all service delivery aspects.
Establish process and structure of all ‘management systems’ within the critical engineering team on site.
Assist in the preparation of operational procedures, emergency, and contingency plans.
Provide governance to ensure records belonging to operations, PPM schedule, reactive maintenance, the emergency maintenance systems, change requests and other engineering, building fabric records including operation and maintenance manuals and drawings.
Oversee all safety aspects are managed and monitored in accordance with site procedures, requirements, and local regulations. Provide technical advice and consultancy to clients and the JLL DC facilities management and Engineering Operations teams as required.
Support critical environments portfolio transitions, technical due diligence, root cause analysis, personnel development and establishing technical training programs.
Preparation of operational and managerial reports.
Maintain effective communications with external and internal clients, technical personnel, and key management.
There will be a requirement for travel, this may be from a single day up to full weeks.

Engineering degree or relevant experience.
Minimum of 10 years data centre operations experience related to FM service delivery.
Previous P&L management experience required.
Thorough understanding of data centre systems related to operational delivery.
Thorough understanding of IT raised floor, co-location, hyper-scale, and cloud environments.
Prior experience working with mission critical programs, procedures, and DCIM/MCIM/CMMS systems.
Other assignments as required.
