JLL Work Dynamics – Retail Acquisitions – Associate Director
Role & Responsibilities
Transactions Delivery:
Responsible for delivery of acquisitions across the UK retail portfolio
Manage end to end delivery of all retail acquisitions in the UK
Working with JLL agents across the region and best in class partners ensuring consistency in service delivery to the client
Work closely with PMO to ensure acquisition programme timelines are met
Ensure relevant market intelligence is fed into the acquisitions process
Presenting transactions for client approval
Regular and ad hoc reporting both internally and to client stakeholders
Ensure all governance is in place at each stage of the transaction
Preparing timely business case approval documents (Stage Papers) including financial analysis
Manage brokers, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure a consistently high standard of service
Managing requests for and delivery of all DD required for acquisitions
Updating Transaction information in workflow management tool (Client Hub)
Managing legal process through to completion

Agency experience and/or experience managing acquisitions for a retail occupier
Reporting/Processes
Update weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
Fees approvals and billing – oversee the billing for acquisitions
Regular dialogue with other workstream leads to ensure a collective approach to service delivery
Oversight and accountability for performance and completion of delivery targets (52 week programme)
Portfolio Review / Critical Dates
Strategy – provide input and expertise to strategy forums and workshops as required
Identifying portfolio optimisation opportunities and management of critical dates
Work closely with Barclays’ stakeholders and Global Strategy Team to ensure implementation of agreed real estate acquisition strategies
NB: responsibilities include managing real estate services by non-JLL suppliers where appointed.
