Location: Chelsea, London
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm | Alternate Saturdays 8am-1pm | On-call rota every 4 weeks
Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are partnering with one of London’s most iconic and high-profile estate management companies to find a first-class, live-in Porter to join a tight-knit, trusted team supporting a luxury residential and mixed-use portfolio in the heart of Chelsea.

This is not your average porter role – we’re seeking someone who delivers above-and-beyond service, with a calm, polished presence, strong communication skills and a talent for problem-solving. If you’re practical, personable and take genuine pride in delivering five-star service, we want to hear from you!

About the Role
You’ll be the face of the estate and a key on-the-ground presence – ensuring the buildings are safe, immaculate and run like clockwork. You’ll support residents, manage contractors, respond to emergencies and help maintain the integrity and high standards of the estate at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to residential and commercial tenants
  • Conduct routine and emergency property inspections
  • Monitor and supervise contractors and site works
  • Respond quickly and professionally to urgent issues (e.g. leaks, break-ins)
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the buildings and their operational status
  • Coordinate key handling, mail delivery, and meter readings
  • Assist with resident onboarding and move-ins
  • Report estate-wide issues such as safety risks, anti-social behaviour, or maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with the Lettings, Property Management, Security, and Sustainability teams

What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential property or facilities
  • Proven problem-solving ability in a hands-on role
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm, professional, and courteous under pressure
  • Able to work independently and take initiative, while being a reliable team player
  • Tech-literate and comfortable using property systems and apps

You’ll also be:

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Personable, empathetic, and always willing to go the extra mile
  • Solution-focused with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work
  • Flexible and responsive in a dynamic, resident-facing role

What You’ll Get in Return

  • A private apartment/flat in Chelsea (SW3) included in the package
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • The chance to work on one of London’s most prestigious residential portfolios
  • A supportive team culture where your input is valued
  • Career development opportunities and training
  • Involvement in forward-thinking, sustainability-led estate initiatives
