Permanent, Full-Tim, office based position offering a Salary of up to £45,000 + great company benefits.

You will be responsible for profitable, efficient and smooth running of the operations and growth of the branch and to maintain and monitor the quality of the services we provide meeting the criteria of the Care inspectorate (regulator) as well as ensuring we meet customer requirements and expectations.

 

We aim to work in partnership with commissioners and others to develop and deliver high-quality care in the community to vulnerable people. Our goal is to provide housing with care based on an enabling approach with an outcome focused support planning process.

As a large provider of social care services, Mears works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to address challenges in the social care marketplace.

About the Role:

We have a dedicated team to ensure that all of our service users get the best possible service to enable them to live an independent life.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Service Manager that holds a SVQ Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent as a minimum.

 

Responsible for overseeing service delivery of personalised care & support to all service users in-line with regulatory requirements

Driving and motivating a great team, managing our statistics, Staff performances, Training, Team Development and more.
Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained through effective recruitment and retention in order to deliver a safe, high quality service.
Undertake regular reviews of the service to ensure high levels of compliance are maintained in line with regulatory requirements
Deliver a safe and viable service and take ownership of setting financial budgets, and delivering the budget
Work closely with the local authority and community to ensure the scheme benefits from community engagement

Role Criteria:

SVQ Level 4 qualification in Health & Social Care or the equivalent
Previous experience within the care sector, as well as a knowledge of SSSC codes of practice  and care inspectorate regulations.
An excellent communicator both verbal and written
Good IT Skills and competency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Be able to work in a flexible manner in line with the business needs
