Job Description

Education required: Bachelor’s (BSc/ BEng) or Master’s degree (MSc/ MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or related field with core mechanical engineering modules, or modules accredited by the IMechE. Graduation by August 2025.

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Other requirements: Willingness to be geographically mobile (domestic) throughout rotations

Expected Start date: September 2025

Within the Global Supply Chain business (GSC), our dedicated teams are responsible for manufacturing and distributing medicines and vaccines worldwide. They oversee every stage of production, from ensuring the creation of high-quality products at our manufacturing sites to developing effective supply forecasting and managing regulatory inspections—all powered by digital, data, and analytics.

What will you do?

You could gain experience in:

Project management of new equipment from design to installation and commissioning

Capital project execution

Continuous Improvement: Increase manufacturing efficiencies through analysing machine data, root causing breakdowns and identifying improvements that increase equipment performance

Reliability engineering, reviewing equipment uptime and availability

Safety & Ergonomic initiatives

Energy management and sustainability projects

Cutting-edge technologies in precision engineering

Work in primary and secondary pharmaceutical manufacturing environments

You will have the opportunity to work towards Chartered Engineer status during and after the programme if you wish.
