About Our Client
Working for a large provider of social housing in the Midlands
Job Description
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs in social housing
Works will be based in the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire)
You must be a competent carpenter/joiner however must also be able to complete basic repairs in other trades such as; plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting/decorating etc
You must provide a high level of customer service working in tenanted properties
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you will have relevant qualifications in carpentry & joinery e.g NVQs or City & Guilds
Previous experience working on similar social housing repairs and maintenance contracts
A valid UK driving license
Asbestos awareness, Working at heights and Manual handling qualifications would be beneficial
