As their portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for a new dynamic and pragmatic leader to develop systems and cultures across all supply chain and manufacture, supporting the wider European business.
Job Description
The Head of Operations and Supply Chain will report into the Global Operations Director and will lead a team of 30 via an Inventory Manager, Customer Service Manager and Operations Team Leader. You will have responsibility for developing manufacturing capability working closely with all the 3rd parties to drive best in class inventory and purchasing practices in alignment with an ambitious growth strategy.
Day to day responsibility will include:
Assessing all 3rd party relations (manufacturing & warehousing) driving high performance
Working closely with commercial and financial functions ensuring sustainable growth
Leading a continuous improvement culture
Contributing to knowledge share and best practice with other operations functions across the globe
The Successful Applicant
The successful Head of Operations and Supply Chain will possess a range of the following:
Proven leadership in FMCG within an operational or supply chain capacity
Experience working with 3rd party manufacturers
Demonstrable experience in supply chain growth and system improvement
Ideally experience working with major retailers
