Requirements for Qualified Nursery Practitioner, Level 3
Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant or Practitioner.
A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to delivering a high level of childcare and customer service
Excellent personal presentation standards
Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
Fluent in English both verbally and written
Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 5 days or 36 hours across 4 days.
Responsibilities for Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Working effectively in partnership with other team members, parents and outside professionals
Preparing and creating exciting and engaging activities based on the children’s interests and age/stage of development
Writing regular observations and assessments of the children’s learning and development
Supporting the children in their health and care routines such as meal times, sleep time and nappy changing
Ensuring that the children in the nursery are safe at all times and being vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect.
Completing regular training to progress personal and professional development.
