Axon Moore is partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing accountancy firm (North-West top 20 firm) to recruit an Audit Senior. The role:
Reporting to an Audit Manager, you’ll take ownership of a client portfolio and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality audits. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading audit planning, fieldwork and completion in line with methodology and deadlines
• Supervising and supporting junior team members to ensure high standards
• Acting as the day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and addressing queries
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with reporting frameworks
• Assessing risks, identifying control weaknesses and proposing improvements
• Presenting clear audit findings and contributing to the firm’s reputation for excellent client service

About you:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or nearly qualified (study support available if required)
• Minimum of 3 years’ audit experience in practice
• Strong technical knowledge, with confident use of accounting systems and Excel
• Personable, professional and able to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike
• Organised, accurate and comfortable managing multiple priorities
