As an Authority, we are proud of the work we do and the objectives we strive to achieve, and our main priority is to find people with the same values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own.

To support the running and operation of our new ‘state of the art’ fisheries vessel we are currently seeking to recruit two new full time crew members into the following role:

£37,879 – £42,043 + unsociable hours allowance (time plus one third for any hours worked between 6pm and 6am) for average 42 hours per week

Based in Whitby, North Yorkshire, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Authority’s established offshore team and become involved in the running and operation of a new, fourth generation, fisheries vessel supporting the protection, conservation, and management of marine resources along the Northeast coast of England.

Daily duties will include supporting the safe running, maintenance, and operation of the vessel alongside other offshore assets and supporting the delivery of the Authority’s marine survey and fisheries enforcement and compliance programmes.
