This role sits within our Public Sector FM business division that provides Cleaning, Catering, Hard Services, Pest Control, Carbon & Energy, and Security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Education & Healthcare market.
About The Role:
The role is responsible for leading a team of employees to provide a integrated Soft FM service to a UAL multi-site contract located in the London Region; managing all operational teams employed to ensure operational excellence is delivered in line with agreed budgets and service specifications; monitoring and reporting on the quality of service and financial performance of the contract, to include service reporting, KPI management and record keeping whilst driving innovation in service delivery to the client.

As a subcontractor OCS is responsible for delivering the following Soft Services, Cleaning, Security, Window Cleaning and Grounds & Gardens Management, Material Management and Pest control.

This high profile contract has a revenue c£7.5m across 14 sites and working in Partnership with both UAL and Hard FM provider who services the Hard FM operations. OCS is now looking for an experienced Contract Director, preferably with a background in the Education environment to see this contract into a new and exciting phase. Driving forward financial performance whilst delivering OCS values to the forefront.

Certain flexibility is required for on call and emergencies, as well as important events or to work on specific projects and ensure operations for security, cleaning and other associated soft services are delivered.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Multi-site experience, covering sites over a broad geographic area
Leadership skills and knowledge – proven track record of leading, managing and developing a team
People management skills including general HR skills in recruitment, training and managing employee performance including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
Proven experience of managing long-term client relationships
This role required basic or enhanced DBS and SIA non-front line license as well as IOSH Managing Safely. OCS will request and enable the successful candidate to apply and obtain all the cited previously once the suitable person is appointed.
MBA desirable.
T&A systems (ideally Timegate)

You will be required to travel all over London, visiting different sites 4-5 days per week.
