Accounts Payable Clerk Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in Warrington. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, this role plays a vital part in ensuring that suppliers are paid accurately and on time, supporting smooth supply chain and production operations.

Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes.
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any discrepancies.
• Managing supplier queries promptly to maintain strong relationships.
• Preparing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
• Assisting with month-end duties, including accruals and reporting.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to support audit requirements.
• Collaborating with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to resolve invoice/PO issues.

Accounts Payable Clerk Experience required:

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role, ideally within a manufacturing or high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing data.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
