What you’ll do:

In this exciting new role as part of a high impact, Agile Product team you will own and drive the in-life management of Sky Business broadband services. Meaning, you will be responsible for identifying improvements to our Sky Business Broadband services and executing these into exciting new features and functionalities via our roadmap delivery to improve the performance of the Product, impacting a wide range of business customers across the UK.

In-life Product Management: Manage Connectivity product solutions in-life with a key focus on:
Engagement of key sales, operational and commercial stakeholders to establish metrics that determine the performance of the products in-life
Identify key areas of improvement and present via clearly articulated messaging through dashboards and reports
Develop initial ideas/concepts based on in-life performance KPIs to enhance product performance n an agile way via:
Process improvements
System improvements
New capability development
Strategy and Roadmap: Support with the definition and management of Connectivity Product portfolio roadmap to maintain & further drive Sky Business competitiveness in market via opportunities identified via in-life product management.
Investment and rationalisation: Provide key inputs into prioritisation framework for Product initiatives to drive efficiency in technology deliveries and help rationalise funding for incremental requirements & features via strong Business Case analysis
New Product Development: Support ideation of new product areas or enhancements based on trends identified via in-life management.
Vendor and supplier management: Represent Sky Business at key industry forums (e.g. Openreach forums) and negotiate on behalf of Sky Business to develop and agree the right solutions and experience for Wholesale Partners and resellers.
Negotiate contracts and maintain positive vendor relationships to drive continuous innovation.
Ownership of RFP inputs to support sourcing of new hardware and software.
Supporting Supply Chain to deliver new processes & forecast demand.
What you’ll bring:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the Telecoms and connectivity industry with some experience in managing product performance. With your strong stakeholder management capabilities, you will influence the roadmap for broadband improvements. Commercial acumen would be key to developing Business case scenarios for prioritisation of key initiatives, developing ideas to grow ARPU, contribute to the bottom line and strategic growth of the business. Presentation and story telling would be key to your successful execution of the role.

Strong passion for Telecoms services with the ability to present complex data into simple to understand key messages and outputs in a complex, matrix environment.
Some knowledge of or demonstrable interest in best-practice for in-life management and new Product development
Some experience managing new products with a focus on Product lifecycle management
Ability to think commercially and strategically, with strong analytical and modelling skills & ideally previous experience with P&L accountability.
Excellent Communication, Presentation & Stakeholder management skills
Ability to make decisions in fast-paced environment and execute at speed
