Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong mechanical engineering background to lead and manage high-level projects. This role is ideal for someone with a solid track record or interest in project management and capable of building strong working relationships. You will oversee the tendering process, coordinate with subcontractors, and serve as the primary contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to scope.
Tendering: Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor work to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and handling any issues that arise.
Team Coordination: Work closely with project coordinators to ensure smooth operations and effective resource management.
Process Management: Ensure all project processes meet company standards and are efficiently executed.
Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:

Experience: 15+ years in mechanical engineering or related fields, with significant project management expertise.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial building services, especially central plant replacement projects (chillers, boilers, AHUs).
Project Management: Proven ability to oversee mechanical design and implementation efficiently.
Skills and Attributes:

Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
Project Focused: A dedicated approach to managing and delivering successful projects.
