Bank Support Worker
Job Description
We are seeking applicants who are experienced in Adult Social Care support work who would like to apply to join our bank register for ‘as and when required’ shifts – helping us to ensure consistently high-quality services.

Greenwich Living Options
Provides support to Adults with Learning Disabilities and other complex needs, within residential settings. There are currently four residential units within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, offering supported living and standard registered care. We are seeking applications from motivated and enthusiastic people to support residents in their own homes. You will work with residents to ensure they are achieving their legal and civil rights, inclusion, independence, and choice.
Day Opportunities Service
The Sherard Road hub is based in the heart of Eltham with good access via public transport and is open 09.00am-16.00pm, Monday to Friday. The service currently provides both daytime and evening support and activities to a maximum of 50 adults aged 19- 75 years old who have learning disabilities and complex needs.
The Day Opportunities service also offers our satellite project Lodge Hill gardens in Abbey wood. The Lodge Hill project is open to services users each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between the hours of 09.00am-15.00pm. The location of the project is peaceful and tranquil and provides residents the opportunity to undertake gardening and woodwork activities together with staff support. Residents also grow their own food produce and cook seasonal dishes with the produce they have harvested.
Lodge Hill offers a sensory and therapeutic atmosphere as well as the opportunity to promote the independence of residents and empower them to acquire new skills.
Bank workers (sessional workers) – hours as required scale 4 – £15.26 per hour
We are increasing our pool of sessional workers and are interested in interviewing individuals who have a good understanding of the needs of adults with learning disabilities, are experienced and motivated and committed to working with adults with specific needs.
